Revealed: eBay business selling advice from an eBayer. Loads of free tips about how to sell on eBay. Plus Powerseller information, what to sell on eBay, where to find items to sell and eBay ebooks. This ebay selling advice ensures you will soon be making money on ebay!
If you are looking for ebay selling advice, I hope these tips will help you. First of all you need to decide what to sell.

There are 2 important things to consider: 1.What would you feel enthusiastic about selling? 2. Is that item going to sell well on ebay? Let’s look at the first of these points in more detail: (I will look at point two in my next article).

If you aren’t interested in the items you are selling, your lack of interest and passion will come across to buyers. Conversely if you know and love your subject that will come across too – and do great things for your ebay sales. Plus, you’ll enjoy your work!

One very important bit of ebay selling advice is that once you have decided on the overall subject of what you want to sell on ebay, you need to narrow that subject right down so it’s a tight niche category. Here’s what I mean:

If you go onto ebay, you’ll see on the home page a whole list of categories. Let’s click on one of them. Let’s click on Clothing. We are taken through to another page of categories within the category of clothing. In otherwords sub-categories.

If we choose one of these, let’s say Women’s Accessories, we are taken through to another list of sub-categories. Let’s click on one of those: eg Wallets. This will take us through to a page of items for sale within the wallets category.

On the left-hand side of the page, you can see that wallets are sub-divided into different types of wallet. Clutch wallets are one of these sub-divisions. Earlier in my ebay selling advice, I mentioned that you need to find a tight niche category.

So, Clutch Wallets are an example of a TIGHT NICHE and would be an excellent choice to sell in because you would be specializing in a small area, rather than trying to compete in a wide subject area. This is vital for ebay success.

Once you have decided on what you are going to sell, you need to find those items or make them. You might want to buy them from a wholesaler, or from car boot sales, or you might use a dropshipper.

You also need to learn how to write effective auction listings, so that as many people as possible find your items. You then want to ensure you get lots of bids. More about all these points in my next ebay selling advice article and on my website. http://www.waystomakemoneyonebay.com
